Conference & Banqueting Facilities: The new 1250m2 Al Thuraya Grand Ballroom is one of the largest ballrooms in the Emirates, with capacity for 1500 guests theatre style. The Al Thuraya Grand ballroom is equipped with sophisticated audio-visual systems making it an ideal venue for functions ranging from conferences and seminars to fashion shows, concerts, gala dinners and product launches. An elegantly marbled pre-function area, along with 7 new meeting rooms, adds to the attraction of the ultimate Conference & Banqueting destination. All major meeting areas are equipped with video projection and conferencing, ISDN links and all of the traditional projection facilities. Boardroom meeting tables have integral sockets for power, data, phone and audio. The flexible and elegantly styled Diwan Ballroom can easily be transformed from a 450 seat Gala Dinner Reception to 3 separate rooms ideal for smaller gatherings. The acoustically modified ballroom features an intricate lighting system and is equipped with sophisticated audio-visual hardware for interactive presentations.
