The Floris Suite Hotel has since its opening in August 2001, set new
standards in life-style hospitality in Curaçao.
The hotel is an example of first-class, simple luxury, with the architecture of the property combining European colonial style with Caribbean elements, blending agreeably into surrounding scenery.
Jan de Bouvrie, Holland’s leading designer is responsible for a consistent design approach, down to the last millimetre. His design is clear to see in the modern translation of colonial comfort displayed throughout the 71 suites, and their clear-lined exotic touch.
The Jan de Bouvrie not only designed the hotel exteriors, but also the interiors of all the luxurious suites, all in effect with large open spaces.
Venezuelan garden architect Diana Hendriquez de Fernandez designed the extremely luxuriant and lush gardens surrounding the hotel.
